Commissioner Maurice Imhoff is calling out the pharmaceutical industry and demanding lower drug costs.
Commissioner Imhoff joins other Michigan leaders working to lower drug prices. Governor Gretchen Whitmer has signed several bills to “help make necessary medications affordable for Michigan families,” taking measures that include prohibiting co-pays that are higher than the selling cost of a particular medication and lowering the cost of insulin.
Commissioner Imhoff is a member of the City of Jackson’s Historic District Commission and the Human Relations Commission. He works as a policy associate advocating for “policies, programs, and projects” that bring economic justice to Michigan workplaces.
