State Representative Carol Glanville recently touted her vote for legislation that she says will expand economic opportunity in Michigan and create thousands of jobs in Michigan that can’t be shipped overseas to countries like China.

Glanville voted for nine bills, recently signed into law by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, aimed at growing Michigan’s economy through job creation, supporting small businesses, and reducing costs for working families. The suite of legislation included House Bills 4232, 5983, and 5984, which contain a number of solutions aimed at addressing labor shortages and helping the tourism and hospitality industries maximize business.

Glanville was born and raised in Michigan, and previously worked as a teacher.
