Dr. Patricia Bernard, the entrepreneur behind Heels on Wheelz, a trucking business development company, is calling for a renewed emphasis on job creation and giving small businesses the opportunity to grow.
Dr. Bernard’s priorities align with state leaders like Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who recently signed nine new bills into law, designed to boost jobs in the state, support the Michigan tourism economy, and lower prices for working families. The nine bills represent a wide variety of solutions designed to fill labor shortages and expand economic opportunities, including House Bills 4232, 5983, and 5984.
Dr. Bernard, a self-described “serial entrepreneur” who is running for office in Michigan House District 55, applauds efforts like these to expand economic opportunities across the state, and urges Michigan leaders to continue finding new ways to create jobs and prioritize the well-being of Michigan’s working families.
