Michael Webber has received the endorsement of Right to Life of Michigan. The group has been clear in their support for a 1931 state law that would ban abortions even in the case of rape or incest.
The group’s legislative director Genevieve Marnon has said that “we definitely support, of course, punishing the rapist, but we don’t support killing the unborn, innocent child.”
Rep. Padma Kuppa is against such legislation. “Privacy in medical decisions rooted in science and bodily autonomy is central to a person’s civil and economic liberties,” Rep. Kuppa said last month.
Michael Webber has been a resident of the 9th Senate district for over 30 years and presently works as a licensed insurance agent.
