Dr. Patricia Bernard, the founder and owner of Heels on Wheelz, a trucking business development company, is calling for new investment in Michigan’s drinking water infrastructure.

Dr. Bernard’s call for greater investment is in keeping with other Michigan leaders like Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who recently signed the Building Michigan Together plan. That new law replaces lead pipes, makes drinking water improvements, and removes toxic contaminants from the water supply.

Dr. Bernard is a self-described “serial entrepreneur,” life coach, and long-time civilian employee with the Department of the Army working in logistics. She is running for office in Michigan House District 55.
