Mount Clemens City Commissioner Denise Mentzer is demanding new investment in Michigan’s drinking water infrastructure.

Commissioner Mentzer’s call for more investment puts her in high-profile company. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer also made this a priority when she recently signed the Building Michigan Together Plan, a new law that replaces lead pipes, makes drinking water improvements, and removes toxic contaminants from the water supply.

Commissioner Mentzer, who is running for the Michigan House of Representatives, has served the City of Mount Clemens for over 8 years and has worked as a Senior Buyer with Macomb County for the last 5 years.
